I own a 1993 Audi 100 CS Quattro 2.8L V6. It has a factory installed Bose radio/cassette player. How do I remove it? I see two small holes on each side. Do I need anyspecial tools? Does anyone have any experience in removing this or similar radio? Thanks.
RE: Audi 100 Factory Bose Radio Removal
i'm gonna assume that what you have is very similar to my 87 5k, technically yes you do need a set of radio removing tools, they basically look like a set of allen wrenches bent in a horseshoe shape. You can however, remove the sides of the center console(again, this is what i did on my 5k) and then push in the clips on the sides of the radio, and slide it on out. Hope this helps.
