Hey I've been searching trying to find out this information my self but I can't quite come to an exact definite answer. So if you can help me out that would be great. What was the first year and model that the 20v I5 turbo motor was used. thanks

 

is this what you mean? this is 20V but i'm not sure 15 turbo.

 

he means i5 turbo.
meaning inline 5 cylinder 20 valve turbo.
I beleive the first one it was used in was the sport quattro.
search that on google or wikipedia...

 

yea well since I have posted this I have found a 91 200 20vturbo and my buddy he's on here he's badluckaudi and I are swapping that motor into a 4000 most likely an 87, we just got the motor pulled today, but anyways we've got a thread on it over at motorgeek in the project forums
