Fitting 6x9" in hat rack of Audi 80
I'm planning to mount a pair of 6x9" in the hat rack of my 1991 Audi 80 (typ 89).
Just wondered if there are others out there who have done this by themselves?
I might just see a challenge trying to fit these into the original shelf as it is pretty curved.
However, I found out there are actually 6 1/2" holes in the chassis underneath the shelf where I probably could put a pair of 6 1/2". The problem is I don't want 6 1/2", cause since I don't have room for a boombox in the trunk I need something a littlebit more bassy and powerful in my hat rack.
Any hints on how I could fit this? Will I have to build a new shelf? Not really an option though...
Cheers
