this could be oil leaking through a gap in the exhaust and the heat would make the smoke so don't panic so much

if the car starts ok and no smoke ill put it on the above^^ because its heat related ( engine warm = oil will burn ) so I would be looking for a leak

But then why would the engine sound fine and then sound like a diesel engine when it smokes

the oil leak could be at the spark plugs because the cam cover could have blown a seal

its a simple DIY remove thespark plug leadsand see if the oil is built up over the spark plugs if yes the oil is leaking, cam cover gasketis easy to replace

ok ill take out the spark plugs and look for oil on them. I hope that is what it is

remember its an oil build up pressure linked with engine heat

all the gauges read out like the engine is 100%
