Hi...i have an 2001 allroad 2.7t with some power steering issues. I get no assist when the car is at idle. only time i get assist is when the car is revving at 3k or more. Yes, i get a nice noise like pump has no fluids, but reservoir is full.

Question, is this a power steering pump issue or is air getting into the system? Or worst case scenerio....is this a power rack issue?

Please help!!!!!
