I think the ride height at level 2 is still lower than factory spec level 1. So the ride quality at the level 2 is about the same as factory spec level 1.
Factory spec level 1 on the rough roads? I dont think so.
When I did the 402 mod(15mm in front) I had less than an inch and a half clearance. I personally wouldnt go any higher than 15mm but there are people with 20mmF&R.
If you want the look, just put the car on level 1 when parking and drive in level 2.

Use this website to find Vagcom in your area.

Thank you very much ccomengee86. Your information is very helpful and the link to the Vag-Com locator is much appreciated. I think I will try dropping the level by 15mm front and 12mm rear and use Level 1 for smooth roads. Then I'll use Level 2 for everything else like I now use Level 1.

Personally, I think lowered allroads look out of balance. With the fender flares and the bumpers being so prominent, I think they look a little top heavy when lowered. (like there's too much sitting down on the wheels)
There's a black ar that I see pretty regularly that's lowered with 18's and looks like its squatting down on the wheels and spilling out over them.

Keep in mind that if you were to reverse the 402 mod, it WILL take numerous times to undo the mod as the process often fails(to calibrate).

i would never do that to mine. that would definitely kill the air bags in the long run.
IMO that's extremely low. i doubt bags can handle that much pressure(due to the weight on bags).
i dont know whether you've read the direction or not, but i can assure you that it would do no good on your bags.
(recommended settings are between 10-20mm)
