Default air spring replaced *Arnott*

So far so good. I replaced my leaking factory front right air bag yesterday. Warranty wouldn't cover it and audi service center wanted $990.00 bucks for one air bag (plus labor).
i bought one from Arnott for $299 (LIFE TIME WARRANTY) installed it yesterday and it's been working great. Took me about 4 hours. Next time it should only take about 1.5 -2 hours. I found out that you don't need to remove the "pinch bolt" or ball joints. Thanks to some of you guys on the forum. All you really need to do is remove the shock bolt, the air line, and the top air bag mount.
I'm just happy to save $700 bucks!

So point being... if you need a new air spring and it's coming out of your bank, here's an option for ya that can save some money. I didn't take pics but Arnott sends some pretty good pics with the spring.

Thats pretty bad considering an online Audi dealer will sell it for $550.
I'm happy with mine so far.8k and one airborne test and they're holding strong

Awesome. Thanks for the report.

Now what's the deal on compressors? Are we still screwed on those?

No, Arnott has those also and they are suppose to have rear springs,a coil over conversion and replacement shocks in the next month or so.

And the prices are somewhat reasonable! I don't feel so bad about my car now. I do notice my compressor running quite a bit... but no sagging ever.
