Any relief in sight
I have a 01 All Road, purchased Feb 05 with 16k miles, now has 55k and since May06 (around 50k) of this year it seems that it has been one problem after another. The last trip to the dealer the service writer suggested visiting a forum to get information on what I may expect with this car.
I love the car, looks great, ride, power, a wagon all that I want, accept recently, reliability. Since May the work done... Torque converter, air blatter for suspension both sides (and not at the same time), CV joints both sides, wheel bearing, O2 sensor x2, upper control arms, and now brake rotors or I should say again because we replaced them in Nov 05 with 39k, and all new tires. For a car with 55k miles does this sound normal. Thank god for Audi Assured extended warranty. Has anyone taken this car to 100k? This is our 2nd Audi the first (A4) was a peach we traded her for this with 75k miles. Wondering if the worst is over, should I trade/sell her.....any thoughts. Thanks

If its a v6 you still have the camshaft adjuster gasket leaks. Also trans output seal leakage and differential seals leaking. Replaced the hazard switch yet? None of that stuff is any different than an a4 thou. Sometimes you get a car with no problems and sometimes they have problems. Thats just the way it works.
