Banks 1, Sensor 1 DIY replacement ???
Hey, not to long ago i posted a Q about the banks II, sensor I O2 sensor, well, i was wrong, i had a diagnostic ran today through the guy i bought my car from and got a code (Banks I, Sensor I non-active: intermintant) or something along those lines, so the dude went aheard and ordered me the sensor through one of his guys at a shop, so that was sick of him to do, now i just gotta put it in myself.
Is Banks I in the driver's side of the car? kind of underneath the radiator fluid overflow containter on the driver's side of the engine compartment???
and once replaced, i was told by Auto Zone that after roughly 100 miles the system will erase the code and the "MIL" engine light will go away? does anyone know about this? im sure the code can be cleared easily thru the vag-com, but the guy i bought my car from is about 3+ hours away, so i was curious if anyone know if it will just reset itself after driving with a new sensor in?
thnx
