Default Cabin air filter - Replacement

My cabin filter is due to be replaced. The shop is telling me $36 for filter, and 1hr labor. This seems a little steep. Is this something a DIY'er can do easily? Any liks to instructions would be appreciated.

Thanks

Yep, the filter price is about right. Shouldn't take an hour though. On an '01 A6, it's about a 5 minute job. It's located at the back of the engine bay, passenger side, between the battery and passenger fender. Pull off the rubber seal strip that runs between the engine and the battery compartment, pull off the entire plastic cover, and you'll see the filter.
