Default cigarette lighters don't work!

I have a 2000 Quattro and the cigarette lighters don't work. The inside and around it light up but when I push them in nothing. I tried lighter in my other car and it work fine. Any ideas?

Thanks
Ron

I had the same issue. It was the classic "coin in the lighter" routine. Would immediately blow a replaced fuse.

I'm having a similar issue, full power to the back, none in the front, changed the fuse twice. Wondering if just replacing the whole unit is whats necessary.
