Default Cold Air Intake

I've got an 01 2.7T allroad and was thinkin about throwing on a cold air intake for more power...and gas mileage. does anybody have any recomendations on a CAI? I hear AEM is solid...but aren't too sure what to believe.

I'm a newbe and am buyingmy AR tomorrow ('03 manual), but AWE Tuning offers a custom intercooler. Is that what you're referring to?

nice find. 6MT is kind of hard to find.
but you should know that ar is a gas guzzler.

Make sure air suspension works properly, and see if there's any leakage.
If your AR has high miles, (65000 and up), ask the sellerwhether TB has been replaced or not.

Audi dealership will charge you minimum of $1000 for Timing Belt change because 2.7T is a PITA. You have to remove front bumper in order to access the motor. It's best to replace water pump and other parts while they're doing the job. Personally, I wouldnt go anywhwere near Audi dealership unless you have extended warranty, otherwise, look for independent shops for cheaper price. By doing so, you can save as much as $500.
