Default Dead Battery

My 2004 AR4.2 had been sitting in the garage for two weeks. Tried to use it today, but battery was dead. I know that the air pump takes some juice, but is two weeks of idleness enough to drain the battery ? I searched through the owners manual and forum, but didn't spot anything about doing anything special if the car isn't being used for a while. Any suggestions ? I noticed before, that when it sits at the airport for a week, the battery gets a bit low, so it isn't just a bad battery. If I use it every day or two, no problem.

Well, this might be a stretch but have you checked the backseat reading lights to be sure they're not on? I had this trouble in my previous A4 where the lightswitch got bumped, and you can't really tell when you're driving because it's tucked back up in there. It would slowly drain my battery from being on all the time without me knowing it.

And I really don't know about this idea, but what ride height are you leaving the car in? I wonder if the compressor has to keep the height up (especially if you have a small leak or something), and that could be alleviated if the car is left in the Level 1 position for extended periods.

I don't think there's anything inherent in the vehicle that would cause it to lose battery strength over time... seems like something must be out of the ordinary.

All lights are definitely out. The car is in a garage, without windows, and it is pitch black in there. Lavel is set to 1, but, even at that, I sometimes hear the air valves operating. This has happened since the AR was new, and I thought it was normal. I may try putting the suspension in the service mode, the next time I leave it for a long time.
