Dangerous Audi Lemon
just hit 24,000 miles on my 2005 allroad 4.2 and this is what I have:
-Intense vibration over 50 mph
-Burning a qt. of oil ever few hundred miles (not every 1000 miles)
-"dipped beam" sensor every few minutes while driving, but all the lights work.
-Coolant leak, sensor comes on every week, always addding antifreeze, dealer replaced several parts, still defective.
-Defective catalytic converter, smels like rotten eggs, tried every premium fuel in the world ,AOA won't authorize repair.
-No air bags working, sensor light is on. Dealer can repair some time next month.
-Lied to by Ray Drainville, regional service rep of Audi of America, this vehicle qualified under the New York State Lemon Law last year, he promised to reimburse me for 3 months of lease, paymnets provided I don't file for the lemon law. This was last year and I still didn't get the check in the mail and he hasn't returned several calls. He even gave this to me in writting. Lets talk face to face Ray!!!!!
-I refuse to let my wife and two young children travel in this dangerous vehicle, I bought them a Volvo XC90 V8 which is safe and dependable(100% perfect).
-This vehicle is going to be driven throughout Long Island and parked outside of every Audi dealership with lemons and a list of the defects written on the glass.
