Forum newbie, 2004 rotor questions
Hi all,
I just found this forum. We bought our 2004 allroad 4.2L last July, for my wife. I love driving it, but my wife is not so enthused. I'm in the middle of replacing the back rotors, and ran into some issues.
I got aftermkt Centrics that were part# CE120.33089, but they were way too big. I found out that my car was a 2003 November build, and supposedly would need 2003 brakes (#CE121.33064). Anybody experience a similiar issue? My mech thinks that these rotors are too small (thinner), though diameter seems ok.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks!
We boughtour allroadto haul stuff for our twins that were born last year. As a hauler, it does well, but we have trouble with taking granny anywhere as a 5th person. Therefore, my wife is becoming disenchanted woth it. Since we want to avoid minivans like the plague, there are very few vehicles up to the task. Even my old Range Rover would have trouble with putting the extra person in 2nd row, with the car seats. Yes, I know I could get a 3rd row for the ar, but there goes the massive storage (the trunk space is long enough to put a double stroller in lengthwise). I'm going to let her drive a Mazda cx-9 (my only concession to Asian cars-no Toyos or Hondas in MY garage), and see if she really needs that extra seat. I hope she comes to her senses.
Thanks again for your help!
