Gear shift stuck in park

Gear shift stuck in park

Everything seems fine until I try and move gear shift. Any idea on how to bypass to at least get to a mechanic?

AT? Only time I had that it was not noticing my steering wheel was in locked state. Duhhh for me; good luck with yours.

Thanks, mysteriously mine unstuck next day. Suspect was frozen. Still unsure.
