I found the best use of heated rear seats.
not to be a smarta$$, but aren't there sensors that the rear heated seats don't kick in if nobody sits there? Not sure, haven't tried it bu think that I read it somewhere...
I gotta try it, that might be a fantastic idea!

Well, either there aren't any sensors (on the front passenger seat, either), or they aren't working, because the pizza was toasty warm when I got it home!

I don't think there are any sensors. back there. There aren't any in the front...Well, if there are they aren't working 'cause my wife left the heat on in the passenger seat and it was toasty without anyone sitting in it.
I'm gonna test this pizza theory next time I'm off to Dominos!

There should be sensors in the rear seat to turn it off unless someone is sitting there. The front seats dont have them because the driver has easy acces to the switchs for front seats.
I read my 03' AllRoad's manual and it says it has sensors that if no one sits on both of rear seats, heat wouldnt kick in.
However, i think mine still works even if no one sits on rear seats.

Maybe my car thinks the pizza is a person! Actually, I came up with the idea because one day after coming home from work, I pulled my briefcase off the back seat and it was toasty warm. I really don't care about the sensors whether they're working or if they even exist. I can easily turn the heaters off from the driver's seat.
