Default re-condition

Recently while our 01AllRoad was in for some work it was hit on the left front corner. After having to prove via photos and video clip that the damage wasnt there before we had the car brought to them they finally said they would fix the damage, which consists of left front fender being replaced as the hit is to near the headlight, one headlight as it is no longer sealed and the refector inside was popped lose, also the front bumber was rubbed by whatever caused the damage leaving paint transfer and some scrapping. The body shop was talking about re-conditioning the bumber and at the time I didnt agree to it but am thinking I might just want to re-place it as I am not sure how it will hold up to time.Has any one had there bumber re-conditioned or know of some one that has and what was the result?Thank you
