Jack mode

Jack mode
Just took my 2004 AR to tire dealer to install Blizzaks. In spite of telling him that I needed to set the jack mode prior to raising the car, they lifted it anyway. Does anyone know the consequences of doing this, since the manual doesn't say ? When I got the car back, with the original tires still on (they didn't have the correct wheels), it seems to feel different, but it may just be me. What does the Jack mode do ?

Never Never Never Never
let the people at the shop lift your car without you putting it on jack mode.
if this happens as much as it did with me coz i was ignorant about it.
Your Allroad suspension will be ruined......... and no allroad dealer will ever be able to put it back together like it was.
Better safe than sorry

The jack mode can be very critical if not engaged before lifting the car.. Its a safety switch for the Air suspension which locks the suspension and prevents them from dropping suddenly when the car raises up.. It can actually damage the "air bags" in the suspension. and you will now need new suspension(s)
