Default new allroad owner!

Hey all,

I recently rid my E36 M3 and purchased an '01 allroad in silver; it has everything I wanted except the Navi. I've wanted this car for some time, and finally found a mint example with 47K miles. As we get older, I guess our priorities change . I had the car go through the factory 330pt inspection, and also purchased an extended warranty. I take delivery Monday; I'm very excited. Is there anything else I need to know, or I should do immediately?

Also, I'd like to clear out the front headlight covers. Does anyone know a high quality supplier? Anyway, I'm glad to be here.

No pictures yet - I've been waylaid in Chicago and haven't been able to go pick up the car yet. Looks like tomorrow will be the day!

Visually; it's 100% stock. It does have the factory option 3D rims. I noticed another member has the "S" decal on the back; I'm debating doing the same while upgrading the engine to S4 spec. First things first though; I'm going to need some tints! It's hell down here without them.

I dunno about the S logo. That would be saying your car is something it is certainly not. Be proud of your Allroad, it's quite a rare car (at least in my area).

you can add the oem dvd-based nav unit (RNS-E) very easily. The best $1500 you can spend on your car. See my links below....or start reading www.navplus.us.

drop me an email if you have any questions, comments etc. Happy reading!!
