Hello all. New owner of a 2001 Allroad Quattro. It's going to be my 16 year-old son's first car. I found a beauty of a car - it's a one owner car, always serviced at my local Audi dealer. It's got high mileage - 165,500. Perfect for a new driver! Everything on the car works well, and you'd never guess it had so many miles. We just picked it up today and had a new set of snow tires installed. It has had an Arnott suspension upgrade, although I'm really not sure exactly what that means... So far my only issue is that the transmission occasionally slips in reverse, especially on hills. I'll get the fluid changed this week and see if that helps before doing anything more drastic. Anyway, I just wanted to say hello, and I'm looking forward to Audi ownership.

1st off, I am mad jealous.
I'm 19, really jealous, and work my freakin *** off every day just hoping that I can get one.
Also, Arnott means that your springs are guaranteed for life.

 

Also mad jealous. I'm 19 and about to put a clutch in my 01 A4. I've had my eye on an Allroad ever since i joined this forum. But college comes first, then nice car. And i plan on getting a nice young 05 one lol. Tell your son how lucky he is.
