I am a new owner of an '01 allroad with 86k. I did a lot or reading before buying and decided the risks were worth the price I paid for the car. I am able to adjust the car from position one to three without any issues but can not get the car to even attempt position four. The light does not come on or flash at all. Is there anything I need to do to select #4 or is a deeper problem?

 

Did this happen when you ck'd the car out when you bought it? If so what have you done since then? This will be your starting point.

If you didn't ck out all the levels prior to buying then either find someone with a VAG-Com or invest in one so you can see whats going on with your car. After you hook it up you'll be able to make some changes to the different height levels.

I put new front bags on mine and it rides about an inch higher than usual and when I go into level 4 it only raises about 1/4in.
