I would think so. The tranny computer is seperate.

Nope. Only a4s with the 2.8L engine

If this hasn't sold let me clarify some questions...

this for sure won't work for a 98-99.5 2.8 30v
But 2000+ has a good chance.
Manual or Tip doesn't matter, you can recode that with VAG.
