I have a Passport 8500 X50 that was with me in my accident, it powers on but one of the buttons on the top dose not work there for on the screen it says needs service once in a while, I tested it and it still works just the button is broken so it skips between the different settings while you drive. I’m rather inpatient and I just bought a new one lol, I called escort the said it would need to be shipped in, I'm to lazy to do all that, it would cost shipping then like 50-80 bucks to fix and refurbish from escort, I have the original box, and the warranty card that I never filled out, its about 2 years old, don’t know if you can get if fixed under the warranty or not it looks perfect, just doesn’t work perfect. If anyone is interested in buying this unit I thought I would offer it on here, would be a cheep way to get a really nice radar detector just you would have to be willing to send it out to escort I have the link to all the info you would need to do so, with the service I believe it comes with another warranty.
