I really hate to do this, because I had such a great setup in mind. Unfortunately, I just don't have the money to complete it right now, and I can't stand having these subs and amp sitting in the utility room, so here goes...


What I'm getting rid of is two brand-new, factory sealed 12" Alpine SWR-1242D type R subs and one Zapco 750.2 reference amp.

The subs are rated at 500W RMS, and 1,500W peak power each. So a grand total of 1,000 watts streaming and up to 3,000 watts combined. That's ENORMOUSLY powerful.. I can't really say much about them, except that they will probably break your windows if you're not careful. The amp is something else though; it'll toy around with these subs, and most others. My good buddy bought this amp brand new, and only used it for three months. He ended up blowing out the coils in both of his Adire Audio Brahma's. I believe he was running the amp at half an ohm (completely stable) when they blew up. The amp is fine, though.

I'm asking a very reasonable $675 + S&H, and I'd prefer to sell these two (or three?) as a package. Pics of the amp are available upon request, as well as any additional information. I'm not too savvy with the technical aspects of either the amp of the sub, but I've done my homework and I know that this is a bargain for this combo. Bump: I was offered $720 for it, and waiting to hear back from another guy who might offer $730. I put it up for sale on craigslist for $700; and I figured giving AF-members a $25 discount was a good deal for you guys. <3
