Default 2001 A8L - $13,000

Silver/Black Audi A8L in great condition. I love this car, but I have to sell it. I am the 2nd owner; I bought it in Nov. 2005. In the 18 months or so that I've owned it I've put about 12,000 miles on it, which have been primarily highway miles on long driving trips including a coast-to-coast round trip. It was not used for daily commuting & has barely been driven in the past year.

There are no mechanical problems; it has never been smoked in; never been in an accident. I encourage you to check CarFax to verify the VIN.

Recent major maintenance includes:
- New brakes (Dec. 2005)
- New tires (July 2006) - see photo
- Water pump (July 2006)

Things you should know in the interest of full disclosure:
- This vehicle has not had the timing belt changed
- The brakes were replaced with non-OEM brakes which means that the brake-pad sensor sends false "you need to have your brake pads replaced" information. I have had this verified several times because I am paranoid.
- Currently, as you will see in one of the photos, the front grilles that cover the fog lights and the area in between are missing. Also, in the same picture, you will notice a tear in the center of the lower plastic cover (sorry I don't know the actual part name) - this was caused by a close encounter with a cement parking lot bumper.
- I'm still making payments on this vehicle.
- I am currently located in New York City. The vehicle is currently located in Nashville, TN and can either be sold there or quickly relocated to the Tri-state area.

If you are in the market for a used A8, then you basically know what you are looking for and looking at. If you have any questions, feel free to send them to me. This is my first high end/luxury car & I have to say that it is a lot of car for the money, which is the reason that I bought it in the first place. The combination of performance, handling, and comfort still makes me smile. I'm a big guy, and this is one of a very few cars that I can comfortably drive for 8+ hours straight. If there was any possible way for me to hold on to it, believe me, I would - I love driving this car. But hopefully my loss will be your gain.

I'd have to check the exact mileage, but I know it's just below 77,000.
