F/S 2000 A6 2.7T 6MT mods, heavy front end damage
the car was wrecked on 5/14/2012. it had just been rebuilt and was issued a salvage title in august 2011.
the car is totaled. i know because the damage from the deer jumping on my hood in feb of 2010 was less severe and the insurance company totaled the car then. i bought the wreck, bought a donor car, and swapped the parts i needed, buying the ones there weren't in grade a condition.
the front end from the radiator support forward is trashed. the radiator and condenser core are trashed. the aftermarket headlights are trashed. bumper, hood, fenders, all trashed. there is also damage to the drivers side door where the fender pinched against it and it had to be forced open to exit the vehicle. the motor is assumed good at this juncture, as it was still running after impact and was able to move the vehicle off the highway to the shoulder. the motor has 156k on it and was strong as hell. i never found myself in a situation where i was wanting for power. the turbos had been replaced by a dealership @ 112k mi. i bought it with 120kmi in 2008. i had just replaced the oil pan and secondary water pump when i was rebuilding the car, so the intake gaskets are fresh as well.
mods are as follows. oversized intercoolers. i forget the manufacture right now, but they appear untouched from what i was able to see. GIAC, APR Cat-back, Forge diverters, H&R Sport springs and struts, RS4 door skirts, an H&R short shifter, and it may or may not have piggy dp's. i have been unable to confirm. the car has hartmann rs4 wheels, but 2 are cracked. both fronts were cracked by an unseen pavement lip in a construction area. the car comes with a set of 5 audi oem 16" wheels that will need tires. i can even throw in another set of 5. i have two sets, both will need new rubber. if you only want one set, you get your choice (one set of solid 5 bars, and 1 set of split 5 bars). it will make $100 difference on the end price if you want both, as that is scrap value for their weight. i have a brand new cooper 225 40r18 that was to be mounted on the front rim after it was repaired. bought new $140. still has the tape and the shipping label on it. we can negotiate a price on that as well. the other tire is in good condition with less than 5k miles, just needs the cracked rim repaired. these cracks are on the inside lip and are easily repaired.
parts left over from the rebuild: complete set of silver doors with regulators, good glass and tan leather trim panels in good condition. intake manifold w/ throttle body, vaccuum/boost tubes, and sensors/regulators that normally attach to this. i have a complete factory airbox. another set of audi dual piston front calipers. tail lights. intake y-tube. various plastic engine trim. coolant res. plastic pressure pipes. i probably have more i'll throw in as well.

i'm not sure on the make for these intercoolers. they were on the car when i bought it.

the DV's are Forge, but i'm not exactly sure what model. something in my brain is yelling 410n but that may have nothing to do with these. i'll post pics when i get the car back. fighting with the insurance company now. i only had liability, but i also had roadside assistance. in my mind, even though towing isn't covered under liability coverage, my roadside assistance should be covering that. and these jokers are demanding $285 for an 8.9mi tow.

the multi color was intentional. i was having someone make some vinyl tribal for it, but never got it put on... here's what it was going to look like

i still have the silver doors with good glass, regulators, interior panels etc that come with the car or go to the scrapyard with it... if you want it let me know before i start cutting it up to part it out and scrap what's leftover.

I've got need for quite a few interior pieces and potentially the speedo/tacho cluster if the screen is in good shape?

the lcd is bad.. it looks ok with a couple missing dots at first, but as it warms up the missing dots multiply.
rear cupholders, are bad. i'll go ahead and pull the center cupholder if you want it. got the switches. do you need navy or tan? i have both. the sound system is factory, but i'll have to figure out where the amp is. i don't know where it's located on the car. got the wheel nut bar as well. have 2 complete toolkits in fact.
