Hallo, I'm asking this question for a lady friend of mine who drives an A2 of 2003. The problem is when the weather is hot and the car has been standing in the hot sun the engine hesitates after being started. Engine starts fine, but the first 5-1o meters the engine does not deliver full power. After 10 meters the problem is gone and engine revvs and performs as it should do.

Further the EPC light is burning. She took the car to her garage (not official Audi dealer) and the mechanic told her there was no problem and the car is fine.

Sounds strange to me but I'm not an A2 expert.

Has anayone heard of this problem and knows how to fix it?
