Have just bought an Audi A3 SE, and everything has been going alright till recently where i heard a rattling noise from the engine, after investigation i noticed smoke/steam coming from the front grill after popping bonnet to find that the Camshaft protecting cover (Plastic cover with audi 2.0TDI writing on it) had come loose and also the dipstick had been pushed out past the sealing o rings, either due to the plastic cover coming loose or due to a build up in pressure a surge that has cause it to come loose and dipstick to pop out, i was just wondering whether anyone else has had a problem with this or whether the pop studs that hold the plastic cover in place were never located correctly in the first place, but would this case the dipstick to be pushed out.
