2006 A3 - Clutch issue
Hi Everyone,
I own a 2006 A3 with around 55k miles, when i press the clutch down it does't disengage the pressure plate to allow me to switch gears. I've only owned the car since the beginning of the year, I haven't noticed any type of slippage, or any signs that the clutch was acting up prior to it just stop working. i had to tow'd to local shop who says i need to replace the clutch @ a price tag of around $1700.
I'm not convinced that really is the problem, I've done some research and lot of people talking about master / slave cylinder.
I'm reaching out hoping to find someone that has experienced a similar problem that could give me a bit of insight.
Thanks all for you time.
