Default 2007 A3 MAF sensor cleaning

I am trying to clean the MAF sensor on a 2007 A3 and I am not sure how to clean or where to spray. I have MAF cleaner. Is this the correct part to clean and where do I need to spray? I keep reading about a metal wire to not touch but I dont see that on this part. thank you for any help

You got the basics right - Use only MAF cleaner spray and do not touch the wire. On our model the wire is inside the housing. What you do is spray inside the opening where air can get into. The spray will clean it and leave no residue. If you want to make sure it's nice and clean - just spray it into all the openings and holes you can find. Excess cleaner will just drip out and evaporate quickly.

It's really that simple.
