2008 A3 Sirius sound problem
I installed a 8E0 035 593 N (dealer confirmed the model number for my VIN) receiver that I bought on ebay in my '08 A3 today but I don't get sound.
I installed the receiver with the three hook ups in the back of the car and removed the kickplate and connected the wire harness there as well following the instructions posted on this forum
I called Sirius and had them activate it. After that, I can read all the channel information on the Audi Concert face plate when I press "SAT" but I get no sound at all. I can change channels with the buttons on the steering wheel.
Does anyone have any ideas about what is wrong? Many Thanks!

Does anyone think this is a CANBUS connection problem?
I saw a writeup on changing the connection position in order to "tell" the head unit on an A4 that it now had a satellite receiver hooked up. I went back and opened up the passenger side kickplate and even removed the glove box assembly looking for this CANBUS connection in order to modify it like on the A4. So far, I can't find this CANBUS harness and don't want to take apart the car any further. Does anyone know where this is on my '08 A3 and if in fact I need to plug it in one position further over like the instructions I found for the A4? Again, my problem is all the visuals are working on the radio but I have no sound. Thanks for anyone's help on this
