2009 S3
jetjock, if you're able to pull that off (an import of an S3 into the US), please post on your experience and what you learrn. even for those of us for whom money IS an object, it'll be very interesting. thanx and good luck!

Yeah! Please let us know what you can find out about importing an S3. Since a dealership screw up my 2008 order, after complaining to Audi of America customer service, I was able to get the option to special order a color for a 2009 order. Still this means a lot of $$$ [:@]

Don't forget, you save insurance and property tax on a modified A3 vs. the more expensive S3.Also with a modifiedA3, you can do adjustable coilovers and programmable chip in case you do intake and exhaust down the road. Deff less problems though with the S3 - no rubbing from the coilovers, check engine light from the chip, or warrantee issues. A3 is probably more time, less money. Reverse for the S3.
