Default 235/45/17 tire on a OEM S-Line Wheel?

Hi everyone,

I did search this and found one instance where someone mentioned they had some rub, was hoping to hear a response where someone went with this size and has had no issues to date. Thanks so much

I'd also be interested in experience with that tire size on wheels of different offsets, since it would help correct the speedometer error as well as fill out the wheel wells better.

No I'm not interested in lowering my car. I like the fact that it (just barely) clears parking lot stops and curbs right now.

I actually justcan't get the OEM size in thetire model I want! They do make it, but it's on backorder for who knows how long. I am 100% showroom stock, just looking to see if this small "size-up" will cause problems

I've had 235/45 - 17 on the stock rims, and on 17 x 8 ET48 wheels, with no rubbing issues at stock S Line height.
