i just bought an 07 A3 2.0T and i was wondering what i could modify on it to get it a little bit faster and look a little cooler. Ialready have a catback exhaust installed, as well as smoked taillights, front blinkers and tinted windows. im thinking of chiping it but i cant find one for a decent price.

 

You haven't even started getting any extra performance out of that engine yet. The catback is okay for sound, but no performance gains. Really, you need to chip the car first. No other mod will get you anywhere close to the gains of a chip. You can get a less restrictive downpipe and that will help, a CAI will help, but the chip is best.

Do a little searching through this forum and you'll find a bunch of answers to your question. $400-$800 for a chip may seem high, but it's cheaper than a new engine, and that is what you'll swear you just got!
