A3 (2000) 3dr - door leaks
I'm having a problem with both my doors on my A3. If it's been raining and I go to get into the car, when closing the door I get an invariable 3 or 4 drips onto my trousers. This embarrassment is then followed by a dribble into the car when I do some reversing and manoeuvering out of my drive. After this initial dribble and drip it tends to stop (ie it lets no more water in) until I open the door and close it again when the process repeats.
Can anyone tell me if this is an obvious door seal problem? Do I need new seals or the door re-hanging? If there is an easy way to do this ora link anyone can post with how to fix the problem it would be most appreciated.
I'm a relatively young driver and this is my first post on the site. I realise that the majority of posts aren't this basic in terms of the problem but I intend to get up to speed as fast as possible.
Any help most greatly appreciated.

I appreciate avant80@2.6's replies. I've already learned a lot from my short time here.
