Default a3 creaking everywhere

anybody experiencing creaking from windows doors open sky and hatch area when driving over roguh roads? i dont know if its just because the a3's are stiffer than other cars i've driven but the weird thing is that it seems to go away when its raining. maybe my whole car needs to get lubed! just doesnt have that solid thump you usually hear with most other cars going over rougher roads. tried the felt strip over the doors. spraying the window seals with krypton nothing seems to work. hope someone with the same issues can help me out here.

my 06 creaks all the time. the open skye really flex's itself going up steep grades and at angle (like a driveway). pretty annoying.

I have the exact same problem in my a3 '97. Seems like the only thing that works is my HU @ high-volume

its an 07 with 20k on it.
i agree i believe its the open sky and the windows.
plus being a hatchback doesnt really help either. its weird when it goes away when it rains though. perhaps more lub will do everywhere? heard of ppl with window creaks all the time. wonder what's a permanent fix?
