Right had the car for approx 2 weeks (A3 2003 TDI sport) and noticed the coolant level kept going down!! Took it back the the dealer i got the car from and it went back into audi to have the porous head replaced!!
Since then the idle when the engine is hot is lumpy (ok when engine is cold!!!) you can feel it when sitting in traffic!!
Also the rear window wiper only works when it wants too and starts up when it wants to even when the wiper is turned off!!!!!!
Any ideas anyone????

as I remeber, regarding rear wiper has an option of preprogrammed acting...like when driving backwards while front wipers are on, etc.. maybe its similar to yours.

diesel engines are a bit more vibrant, especially in first few minutes...like a truck...
is your car new? can u clarify what you mean by porous head? maybe porous hose?
