Had my key FOB die around 50K miles. Tried every trick in the book(Owners Manual) and nothing help in a reset. Tried the sending unit at a Batteries plus store and it was sending out RF signal. Audi dealer said they tried to reset and couldn't so I ended up ordering one....

Total bill was $227 and some change....when I went to order the service guy told me $149.00 so I had a fit at the service counter!!!! Finally after suggesting we talk with the manager the backed down 15%.

So my question is.... how bad did I get screwed???
