A3 ipod adapter

Can anyone tell me if the oem ipod adapter for the A3 is intechangeable with a VW? I was thinking about removing the adapter from an A3 '06 and use it on a Gli '06. I am planning to buy the DICE....Thanks!!

Most stereo compoents are VAG - meaning Volkswagen and Audi. I'd guess it's just fine.

how confident is your guess? I was thinking the same too, but I don't want to find out the hard way.....Thanks for the info!!!

different part numbers...i'd check the GLI's HU pin outs and see if they match up. that ought to be easy enough.
