I am considering either the Toyota Corolla or the Porsche 911 GTIII, which should I buy and why? : ) J/K - It is kind of a stretch, as they are not really competing at all in any sense. I have a feeling the Prius forum will tell you the Prius is better and the Audi forum will say the Audi, just a stab in the dark. Depends on what you are looking for, but neither really have much in common unless they are the same color.

Hello anybody there. JK. Hybrid cost alot of money and yes you must keep it a while before you see that money you paid extra to be recouped like chef said.
Do you kind of understand that part we are talking about?
The Audi A3 is a turbo charged car that has everything a man or woman could ever want.(alright i got a little carried away there)
If your concern is to safe mother earth or to safe the money in your pockets, The A3 is not a gas guzzler !
Couple of questions for you to answer why Prius, how old are you, why A3, where do you live?

I think the question was intended for "how much speculation can I create by a single nonsense post?" and it has deserved enough attention :-) Apologies if I'm being rude, but please state your reason for asking for such a comparison? If you want to compare apples and oranges you yourself would have your own logic for this and asking this question in either forum would not help you.

Default Vegas or Grandma?

Should go I to the Bachelor party in Vegas or play Bingo with my grandma this weekend?

I guess I'm posting the question on the forum because I want to be convinced to go for Vegas. But does the fact that I am even considering Bingo with grandma suggests that perhaps I'm a moron?

I have driven a Prius extensively (ex girlfriends parents car) and I can say that its a pretty smooth, comfortable car, but it is not sporty! You can do some nice reverse donuts in it if you push it hehe

But the funny thing is that for a car with amazing gas mileage its not apparent in "real world" driving. I drove it 1500km on the highway and got 6.1/100km fuel consumption. On the same drive in my old battered un-tuned 1996 accord, i got 7.1L/100km consumption simply because the accord didnt have to strain on all the hills. Point being, for the price youd pay for a Prius if you are only saving 1L/100km you would have to drive a lot to really save the environment/ $$

Buy a bus pass or bicycle...clearly you are not concerned with performance, style, or enjoying the fruits of your labor. You will feel much better about yourself by saving the enviornment. If you buy the P you will only have months or years of agonizing disappointment until you sell it after seeing all the people who are concerned with performance, style, and enjoying the fruits of their labor pass by your bus window. Live a little and enjoy life.
