A3 seat removal

Default A3 seat removal

i need to get my leather seat restitched after airbag deployed i have been told i can remove the backrest is this possible

are you trying to just get the backrest off or trying to take the seat leather off?

whatever is the easiest if i could get just ther leather off then i could take it to upholsterer

the back rest will have three clips holding it in at top. pull straight out at the top are of the backrest and then pull up to slide bottom off. as for the leather its kinda hard to describe how to remove but you will have to remove the backrest first then the headrest and there will be several straps that you can see that hold the leather down some go to the bottom of the seat and some you will see in the back when the back rest is removed i will look for you and see if i can find a better procedure for you to follow
