Please. please help.

I've recently had my A3 Sport (99) serviced but the garage didn't know how to turn the service light off!![X(]

Can anybody help - and I don't have a manual I'm afraid!!!

 

OIL -OIL service light

press and hold button [A] right hand side below speedo.
switch ignition on.
the letters "OIL" will appear in the trip recorder.
release button [A].
pull out button [B] below rev counter for approx 2 seconds to reset the display.

INSP - Inspection service light

press and hold button [A].
switch ignition on.
the letters "OIL" will appear in the trip recorder.
release button [A].
press and release button [A].
the letters "INSP" will appear in the trip recorder.
pull out button [B] for approx 2 seconds to reset the display.

it the same for the A4 and most of the others from 1999
