hi i have just bought a 55plate a3 tdi s line dsg 140bhp version
i thought it would be much better on fuel than what it is
i filled up the other day which takes between £60-£67 to fill up and its doing around 350 miles on that im driving it normally and its not in sports mode etc
should it be doing better than this ???????????????
be gratefull for some advice

 

If it's brand new, it needs to break in. It should slowly improve over the first 5000 miles. (I think my last Toyota RAV4 didn't start peaking in fuel economy until almost 10K miles. Started around 25mpg, and slowly worked up to about 28mpg.)

On the other hand, what you've posted is rather low. I just bought a new A3 TDi with 14 miles on it, and I haven't filled my first tank yet, but I'm already past that mileage.
