Not to sound morbid, but I want to hear more about details of the accident.Estimateson how fast anddetails on what they think happened.If they hit the tree sideways, how come no chewed up ground? (not a conspiracy question, just wondering what the hell happened)I've seen some hardcore wrecks, but this thing....whoa. Split in half, engine removed, top ripped off...damn.

Perhaps the car was airborne? Considering the velocity necessary to cause that kind of damage, I really wouldn't be surprised.
