if the frame is bent, insist that your insurance company total the car. or at the least, they better compensate you for loss of value.

yeah thats defenitely an option Im sure your'e considering...
save a lot of hassles...plus from the sound of it - the ol A3
sounds in pretty bad shape [&o]...

& I hope ur son wasnt too shaken up- the hit wouldve been on his side eh?
man Chef... 2 accidents in close succesion - cant be too good for ur body.
be sure to take it easy & get some R&R...

i have to agree with the totalling bit. if the frame is twisted you really should try to get it totalled out. nothing harder then selling a car later with a salvage title.

Sucks dude...

Been in a pileup myself. IIRC if your car is in motion and you hit someone after being hit, you can potentially share fault with the person who caused the accident. When making your statement to the insurance companies, be careful.

Now lets all Pray for the insurance to "total it." I too hate driving cars that have been in a wreck
