Did you end up going with an A3 again? I think I remember seeing pictures of your incident. Really an amazingly safe car.I have not regrets whatsoever about my decision to get an A3.

 

Sorry to hijack your thread Chef, but L7 I actually got a 2007 Acura TL. The dealer was giving me a really good price for it and its a beautiful car. I still miss the A3 though because all of the mods available, but I figured if a got a bigger car it would also sort of prevent me from speeding as much because I already have 2 speeding tickets and my insurance is through the roof because I live in Jersey too.

I get A3sick so I tend to come visit the A3 forum every now and then.

 

Well, I haven't been able to talk with man repair person for a while, but I got word that the car will be fixed and back to me by April 27th. I'm happy to have the car back, but I do hope that their are no future problems. The car is gauranteed for life for the repairs, so I'll take it back for anything that isn't perfect, and they are going to pay me for loss of value due to the accident.

I'll keep you posted.

If you say the frame is bent that is leaning towards your car being totaled, Insurance companies don't pay for things like the frames to be re-straightened as in the case of my girl crashing my new 5 series. ON THE BRIGHT SIDE if this is true you get what your car as worth and that means a new A3 not one with a R-title that's been fixed. Hope your pain goes away and take care
