Default Aftermarket speakers?

Has anyone got aftermarket speakers on their 2006 or -07? I don't want to upgrade to the Bose option because it includes a cassette option so I am sticking with the stock set-up. If anyone has installed better sounding speakers than the stock, please let me know what brand and model they are. Gracias!!!

I have an 06 A3 with the stock Audi Concert radio and all I did was add in an amp and sub and now it sounds sikkk. The stock speakers give out the mid and high ranges and the sub gives out the lows so the setup sounds amazing now. I just installed it myself day before yesterday with a custom box. Ill try to get pics up if u wanna see it.

Thanks Sunny! Unfortunately I am not as talanted as you and I would have to take it to get installed. What type of Amp and Sub did you install? That seems to address my issue since the sound is clear but "canny". Pictures would be awesome!

I put in a Rockford Fosgate P8002 Amplifier with an Audiobahn AW1206t sub. The amp is 800 rms and the sub is 1100 rms. You can buy a nice sub and amp setup from ebay and then take it to bestbuy and get it installed for about $150. What area are you in? Ill post pics by tomorrow, but most likely today if i can get my camera to work.

Nope.. everythings crisp and clear. Idk if you might get rattles if you have the open sky sunroof, but I dont have that and it sounds great. The only thing that rattled was my lisence plate cover on the trunk but I used Dynamat and it doesnt rattle anymore.

Cool. So if I fork up a grand I can definitely improve upon the "richness" of the sound, right?

You can get all the stuff on ebay for about $600. My whole setup cost me $550 (sub, amp, custom box, amp kit, and capacitor) and sounds better than most people who spend $1000, but then again I did get my stuff at a discount b/c I work for Best Buy. But I am sure that you can look on ebay and find a great deal for the same stuff that I have.
