My 2001 A3 TDI was parked in my drive this morning when, for no obvious reason, the alarm sounded and all the windows opened!!

Can anyone suggest a reason, and how to prevent it happening again?

This happened again today.

Just arrived home from a 150 mile journey; Parked in the drive; locked the doors and went inside for a cuppa.

I looked outside 5 minutes later and all 4 windows were open about 2 inches!

I start a new job next week and will have to leave my car parked on the street overnight, so this is now a real concern.

Does nobody have any suggestions?
