Default All Season Tires??

Hey all, I just purchased a 2006 3.2 s-line. It came with 18' Yokahama Avid H4s tires. They are fine for city driving but I'm planning on heading up to the mountains a few times this season. I went to look on TireRack and these tires have gotten TERRIBLE reviews for even light snow. Anyone have any recommendations for all season tires that perform reasonably well in the snow? I definitely want all season and would like to keep it under $125 a tire if possible. Thanks!!

All season tires always perform subpar compared to single purpose snow tires.

If you have the quattro, you are light years ahead of the game already, compared to those FWD/RWD guys.

Anyway, the Continental ExtremeContact DWS seems to be the best of the bunch, having good dry, wet and snow performance. Price slightly above your price limit:

I'm heading up to the mountains this weekend. I'll see how the Yokohama's behave with the quattro backing them up.

Based on the reviews, the Continentals look like a good choice.

Thanks!
